Scriptures Plus Truth Equals Love

Let's start with the basic premise that the only scriptures that embody truth, based on my experience with my intuition, higher self, and other teachings, are the ones that teach Love. Love is the only thing that is real. Any scripture that promotes fear, guilt, shame, hypocrisy, etc. is non-truth and part of the illusion of non-reality! True Love is God and is always unconditional. Anything love that is conditional, manipulative, having an agenda, or rationalized in the name of God is a lie. In the teachings of A Course In Miracles, The Way Of Mastery, Taoism, Sufism, Buddhism, Gnosticism, Kabala, and Shamanism, Love is a central theme. So, I am only drawn to scripture that models equality and the extension of Love from within. That does not mean this is the only way, but the way that works for me and the way that I experience gets me back to the oneness of Source the quickest.
I am Love. You are Love. We all are Love. True Love has no opposite. The purpose of your life is to Love. All events in the world of form are neutral. It is our valuing that gives them meaning. Coming from Love all events are just neutral experiences to find our way back to Love. We can call these lessons. However, thoughts are never neutral. Thoughts are judgments and never exist in the stillness of the present moment. And true unconditional Love can only be experienced in the present moment."I am one with my Creator–now. I choose to fulfill my purpose by extending only the reflection of my Self, and I am Love. I open and receive the reality of Love for myself–now. I Love my Self. Who can I extend Love to now? How can I experience Love now? There is nothing outside me" (The Way Of Mastery, 2000). The Way Of Mastery seems to be the same voice, Jeshua, as A Course In Miracles. However, I find that the material is easier to grasp. It can be purchased online at the Shanti Christo Foundation. This is one example of what I experience as scripture or sacred truth.
Another scripture that speaks to me is the Tao Te Ching."The only change that will help anything is the change the individual makes within their self as they fill themselves with compassion, for their fellows and the world around them. Until human beings have the compassion and a feeling of Oneness, it does not matter what changes we make in government, economic systems, civil rights, etc., because without compassion and Oneness everything will remain based upon selfishness and ego. The Tai Chi person thus passes through life adapting and adjusting to all situations, all the while serving as an example of loving compassion and non-violence for all whom they meet" (The Tai Chi Journey, Lash, 1989). Thus Love is the only way, it's an inside job, and it is to be extended in Oneness with the Tao.
A Course In Miracles has always resonated with me. In ACIM we are either in Love or fear. Love is real and fear is separation and an illusion created by the ego. Oneness is love. Oneness is Christ consciousness. Forgiveness is the way back to Love. When we forgive ourselves we give ourselves the gift of Love. We can then extend it to others because we remember that we are Love. Giving and receiving are the same thing. What we give we receive. "Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God," or Love (ACIM, 1975). The Truth will set us free! Scriptures will set us free if they are aligned with Love, forgiveness, and compassion. All fear is an endless illusion or prison. Hell is our egoic miscreations of separation here on earth. Forgiveness and compassion are the only way out of the dream. More specifically, Love is the Truth that will set all of us free and lift the veil of illusion of fear.
We must pick and study our scriptures carefully. Truth is universal. The experience of Love is universal. Trust your higher self. Trust your intuition. We are all equal extensions of Love from our Creator. Separation is a lie, a dream. We are all one. We are all Christ consciousness. And any scripture that communicates otherwise does not work for me. When we can really experience Love from our higher selves we then can truly Love others. For when we can give Love to ourselves we open ourselves to receive that Love and thus give and extend that Love to others. We become an open pure portal of Love. Then and only then can we can experience heaven on earth.
